| Proposed solution |
Government of Argentina and the Buenos Aires City Government has to respect exisitng laws. Families from La Boca succeed in making the City Council approve the Law N° 2.240 that states the environmental and urban emergency in La Boca. This Law has been ignored for the Argentinian Government. Furthermore, the art. 29 of the Law 4.353 of the creation of District of Arts stipulate thta the Gobernment of the City of Buenos Aires has to meet the housing needs of people in vulnerable situations in the area and take action to facilitate the permanence of the families living in the neighbourhood. In order to fulfill their obligations the government of Argentina and the government of the city need to grant the right to adequate housing and the secure establishment of the families in their neighbourhoods.

| Brief narrative |
After the approval of the Law of the Creation of District of Arts, Law N° 4.353, the forced evictions in the Boca neighbourhood of Buenos Aires multiplied. Las year 2016 a total of 1106 citizens were evicted forcibly. Moreover, between February and March 2017, 64 families will be forcibly evicted from the the neighbourhood through 19 evictions already ordered. g On the other hand, there are a total of 61 eviction judiciary processes on going that will finish by evicting 300 families. The development of the South area of the city promoted by the current government led by the Republican Proposal Party (PRO), is driving the families of La Boca off their homes, both by forced evictions and gentrification processes. The impetus of the real state is not only being done through the creation of the District of Arts but also through the sale of public land such as the Casa Amarilla and strong investments favoring investors and owners gathered in the Consortim of the Distric of Arts. | ||||||||||
