New Displacement associated with Conflict and Violence

This figure refers mostly to IDPs who were displaced a second or third time during 2020. More than 58,000 IDPs included in this figure had already been displaced at least once before by armed conflict and violence and around 9,000 were individuals displaced for the first time. Most displacements took place in Ninewa, Sulaymaniyah, Kirkuk, Anbar, Diyala and Baghdad governorates
