The UN General Assembly adopted resolution 3379 on 10 November 1975. It determined that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination. Votes were 72 in favor, 35 against, and 32 abstentions. It was a pivotal moment in the history of Zionism.

The prolific documentation and analysis of Zionist apartheid in the form of the State of Israel have vindicated that resolution, despite its quid-pro-quo annulment amid Oslo-process hopes in 1991.
